Found some rare Japanese books…
A very nice pair of Japanese Kutani Porcelain Vase Bottles (Pair). Height: 17.5cm. Circa: pre-1930s, Japan.
I collect Japanese Arts & Antiques, not just because they are beautiful. There’s something about Japanese antiques which I can easily identify, in regards to its arts and its craftsmanship. Looking and touching a Japanese pottery, one can sort of read into what is involved in the making and get a sense of its style, age, and origin. It’s strange to say, but I started collecting Japanese pieces, in order to learn more about Chinese antiques…
An elegant Japanese Eiraku Teapot. The once silver decorations on this teapot have now turned to black. Since the decorations was painted on, any silver tarnish remover will simply whip the old silver off! Circa: early 20th century, Japan.
I’m not sure what to make of this. After examining the Japanese text, I am still puzzled by the usage. It is probably a safety key/pin (?) relating to old Japanese airplanes. Another wild guess would be a tag for some device.
